To make the Advaitic teachings as enunciated in the sacred Vedic/Hindu Shastras: the Bhagavad Gita; the Upanishads; the Puranas; Yoga Sutras; Adi Sankaracharya’s works; the Advaitic texts such as Tripura Rahasya, Vedanta Panchadasi, Yoga Vasishtam, Ashtavakra Gita, Ribhu Gita; as well as in those Upadesas, of modern Advaitic Masters like Sri Ramana Maharshi, Sri J Krishnamurti and Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj – as presented and taught by Sri Sankara Bhagavadpada – available to seekers and mumukshus; who are entangled in the process of suffering in the spheres of Artha and Kama, and who are therefore attempting to understand: the enigmas and duality of life, the nature of the self, nature of reality, the nature of suffering itself; and who are also in search of inner peace and contentment, or Dharma [Virtue], or Moksha [liberation from all sufferings]-as a means and final answer to all their ever-changing problems and sufferings.
To organize introductory talks touching on these life-situations, and to follow up these talks with Atmajnana Yajnas, Dhyana Yajnas, Meditations, seminars, workshops, for the express purpose of gaining Atmajnana, self-knowledge, Chitta Shuddhi, and Self-realization, and for learning about the nature of reality, and for facilitating ‘Hindu homecoming’ and for the consequent authentic ‘re-discovery of Hinduism’ and the Hindu way of life, as a yogic means to ‘Atma Prasannata’ [inner peace and contentment] in individual lives, and ‘Loka Kalyana’, at the collective level.
To introduce and teach Jyotisha [Vedic Astrology], as ‘Vedic Astrology’ proper, and also as a Darsana [spiritual world-view], for dispelling our ignorance about our ‘individuality’ and the nature of reality, and for enriching and deepening ‘self-knowledge’ and ‘other-knowledge’, as a means to achieve liberation from the notion that one is an individual, housed in a ‘separate body’ with a ‘separate consciousness’.
To offer personal consultations in Jyotisha, with a view to fathom and understand the Will of Isvara in one’s life, and with a view to minimize sufferings through the Remedial Measures [Healing methods] of Vedic Astrology. And in this way to gain a deeper understanding of the Navagraha Devatas of Jyotisha, and to secure the blessings of these Navagraha Devatas, by their propitiation and worship, through the Hindu Poojas, Abhishekas, Homas, Archanas, etc.
Also to disseminate this Vedic knowledge by teaching Jyotisha, through the Internet and to eventually publish all such course materials, for the benefit of those who wish to have access to these Jyotisha Lessons, in the form of a Correspondence Course. To hold Jyotisha Yajnas, seminars, study sessions, workshops, for furthering and deepening this approach to Jyotisha – as a means to Jyotisha proper, as well as a means to ‘Brahma-Atma’ Vidya. In this way, to disseminate the Light of Jyotisha, for the benefit of seekers, for their deeper understanding of Jyotisha, and Hindu Dharma and Moksha.
To award Certificates of Proficiency, at various levels, to those who diligently study and successfully complete these Jyotisha and other Atmavidya Courses, and thereby recognize and place on record, their credentials for the further practice and teaching of these Vedic/Hindu sacred disciplines of learning.
To establish an Intl Headquarters for organizing and co-coordinating a wide variety of spiritual activities all over the world, such as Public talks, Satsangs, Seminars, Samalochanas, Workshops, Programmes and Dhyana-Yajnas under the aegis of ‘TAT TVAM ASI’. To make his Advaitic spiritual teachings known to the world-through the creation of facilities and opportunities for spiritual sadhana for seekers and mumukshus, to both congregate as well as go into retreats at any location as may be decided by the Trustees from time to time.
To inspire, create, and help autonomous spiritual centres (called Satsangs), all over the world; where the Advaitic truth is revealed to the spiritual seekers and mumukshus, during intense Spiritual retreats held at these Satsangs. To inspire, teach and groom such ardent seekers, as are worthy and capable of this task; so that they may establish their own Satsangs, conduct spiritual retreats therein and hold themselves fully accountable to the members of the public, who come to their Satsangs, seeking spiritual insight and understanding.
To guide, teach, educate, groom and nurture, a core-group of mumukshus who, through their passion would tirelessly work to bring spiritual understanding, and spiritual insight to mankind; this will be through spiritual discourses, spiritual intensives and Satsangs at various centers.
To create a suitable environment and facilities for study and enquiry into: the nature of Atmajnana; nature of man’s communion with Isvara, the nature of spiritual healing; the nature of the spiritual-life; alternative healthy diets and life-styles, conducive to the cultivation of the spiritual life.
To sponsor the publication and distribution of books, audio and video discs [CDs, DVDs], with the sole objective of bringing Atmajnana into focus in the world. To organize Public talks and Satsangs, all over the country, and also in many other parts of the world, with the sole objective of not only creating spiritual awareness and spiritual thirst in man; but also offer spiritual understanding and peace for thirsty spiritual seekers, devotees & mumukshus.
Also to create and nurture Ashrams and Satsangs, where whole families, devoted to the spiritual quest, obtain the opportunity of learning a new way of living together –a new spiritual way of relating to man and to the earth.
To study all psychological and spiritual impediments that prevents the occurrence of Atmajnana and communion with Isvara and discover meditational, astrological, yogic, and spiritual Remedial Measures for overcoming these impediments.
To enquire into the nature and severity of Karma, to uncover natural laws governing human thought, word, deed and arrive at a self-consistent unified laws of Karma through the methods of Vedic Astrology, in particular, the Systems Approach to Vedic Astrology[SA].
To offer Vedic Astrological consultations and guidance to seekers, either in the spheres of ‘Artha and Kama’ or in the spiritual spheres of ‘Dharma and Moksha’.
To establish and nurture Satsangs and other Ashrams which shall be centres of learning, inspired by Sri Sankara Bhagavadpada, and where mumukshus are given an insightful spiritual education and a new world-view and a new spiritual way of living and acting, in accordance with the principles of Sanatana Dharma.
To teach the Bhagavad Gita to small groups, and to the public, in the manner first taught by Sri Sankara Bhagavadpada, with Moksha as the goal, and with an emphasis on Moksha. To introduce the Bhagavad Gita as primarily a Moksha Shastra.To offer short and long courses on the Bhagavad Gita [either in a class room setting or through e-mail courses], and such other sacred Texts of the Hindus, like the Upanishads, Yoga Shastras, etc.
To organize and conduct ‘Atmajnana Yajnas’ and ‘Arogyakshema Yajnas’ for bringing to individual seekers, mumukshus and society at large, the Prasada of ‘Atma Prasannata’ , ‘Arogyakshema’ & ‘Kalyana’ of the world.
To disseminate the truth of Jyotisha[Vedic Astrology], and other Vedic disciplines like the Vedas and Vedangas, Sanskrit, Ayurveda, Vastu Shastra, Agama Shastra, Upanishads, Brahma Sutras, Puranas, Mahabharata, Ramayana, etc, through public talks, writings, samalochanas, debates, etc.
To conduct research into the Vedas & Vedangas, to teach the Vedas & Vedangas, and systematically prepare Sanskrit Courses at various levels, preferably based on Panini’s Ashthaadhyaayi with a view to teach Sanskrit to seekers all over the world, thereby creating a new spiritual culture, for which Sanskrit is the most excellent vehicle.
To conserve, protect, nurture and develop, the auspicious Hindu and Vedic ethos, through research into the Vedangas, Vedic-Sanskrit, Mantra Shastra, and through the dissemination and publication of such new findings, and through education in the form of special seminars, workshops, Satsangs, etc.
To create, sponsor and nurture such other works as may be suggested and implied by the objectives set forth hereinabove. Further, to fruitfully co-operate, collaborate and associate with organizations and pioneering individuals, whose objectives are similar to those of this Trust.
To maintain, and conserve the spiritual archives of the Founder Sri Sankara Bhagavadpada, in the form of: correspondence with his Master Sri Bhagavan, correspondence with the Master Sri J Krishnamurti, correspondence with Dr N Sivakamu and the life-time spiritual work of the Founder; to maintain the spiritual archives of the Founder’s late mother Smt Kanaka Durga Ramachandran, in the form of her life-long correspondence with the Master Sri J. Krishnamurti; to maintain the archives of the Founder’s late maternal grandparents, who had rendered yeoman service to the poor, during their life time.
To institute educational scholarships for poor, but deserving children, in the name and memory of the late beloved, Dr N Sivakamu, and if necessary institute other such scholarships, honoring other ‘departed ancestors’ and the Hindu Tradition of Daana & Dharma.
